We're looking for a passionate Food Scientist / Batcher to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from product formulation and batching through to production support, quality improvements and new product development.

What you'll be doing
- Batch and manufacture products to precise formulations
- Develop and improve recipes for commercial-scale production
- Scale recipes from kitchen trials to full manufacturing runs
- Conduct production trials and evaluate product performance
- Work closely with production to improve consistency, yield and efficiency
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and recommend practical solutions
- Ensure recipes comply with HACCP, GMP and Australian food regulations
- Maintain accurate formulation, specification and production documentation
- Assist with nutritional calculations, shelf-life testing and product validation
- Support the launch of exciting new products and limited editions
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Has qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field
- Has experience in food manufacturing (bakery experience highly regarded)
- Understands ingredients, food chemistry and commercial processing
- Has experience batching ingredients accurately
- Is organised, analytical and highly detail-oriented
- Enjoys working both in production and on product development
- Can work independently while collaborating with a close-knit team
- Is passionate about health foods, sports nutrition or functional foods
