Personal Trainer
Full-time / Contractor | $45–$60 per PT session| Canberra, ACT
We’re not looking for someone to simply fill a floor spot. We’re looking for a Personal Trainer who is serious about their craft and ready to build something meaningful — a client base, a career, and a strong reputation within a club that provides the right environment to succeed.
$45–$60 per PT session
High demand for Personal Training (in-person and online)
The Opportunity
This is a busy facility with genuine demand for personal training. The leads are there, the foot traffic is consistent, and the membership base is invested in their health and results. What we need is the right trainer to step in and service that demand.
You’ll earn a minimum of $45 per PT session, with strong potential to increase your earnings. You’ll also receive mentoring from myself, Brad Kwong, with over 10 years of hands on experience as a Personal Trainer and be part of a club culture focused on long-term growth — not just session numbers.
What We Offer
- $45–$60 per hour (paid per PT session)
- Mentoring and ongoing support from Brad Kwong
- Clear career progression and development opportunities
- A large, active member base with genuine demand for PT services
- A supportive team environment — not a sink-or-swim floor
- Access to high-quality equipment and a professional training space
What We’re Looking For
- Certificate III & IV in Fitness (minimum requirement)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Registration with Fitness Australia or an equivalent recognised body
- A genuine focus on client experience and results
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Driven to build a career — not just clock sessions
- Previous Personal Training experience is preferred, but not essential.
Who This Role Is For
Whether you’re a newly qualified trainer looking for the right environment to launch your career, or an experienced trainer wanting to grow your client base within a supportive club — this opportunity is designed for you.
You’ll be supported by Brad Kwong, who will help you develop lead generation skills and build your client base. You won’t be left to figure it out alone — guidance, support, and mentorship will be there to help you build momentum.
For those who demonstrate strong performance and consistency, there is opportunity to progress into a Senior Personal Trainer role, mentoring and supporting new trainers entering the industry. There is also potential for increased earnings and bonuses based on results, client retention, and business growth.
