Wood Australia is seeking Expression of Interest for experienced Riggers & Scaffolders to work in the Surat Basin of western Queensland.
As a Rigger or Scaffolder, you will apply your expertise in slinging, rigging, lifting or scaffolding ensuring that all work is completed safely, effectively, and to the required standards.
You will become part of a team focused on delivering solutions for our client’s assets in western Queensland and create excellence delivery across assigned mechanical scope of works
The role
- Casual and Permanent: DIDO, FIFO or local
- Roster : 15/13 10-hour shifts, 5 days/week normal time
- Competitive Base Rate with casual loading on all hours + Overtime + Site Allowance
- Other Benefits : Accommodation is provided to distant workers

About you
- Site Proficient: Experienced in oil & gas and the industrial sector.
- Team Oriented: Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills
- Workplace Safety: Committed to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
- Experience:
- Rigging - supporting cranes, rigging, slinging and moving loads
- Scaffolding – System, Tube and Clip and other scaffold types. Erecting, and dismantling, standard, hanging and cantilevered scaffolds
- Qualifications : Scaffolding & Rigging high risk licences
Successful candidates will require the following and all tickets must be current if you are to be considered:
- Working at Heights (WAH)
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- Scaffolding - Basic, Intermediate or Advanced
- Rigging – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced
The successful candidate will undergo a Wood medical and will be required to provide certificates and WAH, CS tickets before undergoing the medical.
