We are growing and looking for experienced, values-driven Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team on a subcontractor basis.
About the Role
As a subcontracted Behaviour Support Practitioner with Olesuke, you will have the flexibility to manage your own caseload while being part of a collaborative and supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering Positive Behaviour Support services in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
As a Behaviour Support Practitioner subcontracting with Olesuke, your responsibilities will include:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments to identify the underlying causes of behaviours of concern
- Develop and implement Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements
- Provide practical, evidence-based strategies to participants, families, and support teams
- Build and maintain strong, respectful, and collaborative relationships with participants, families, carers, and support networks
- Deliver training, coaching, and consultation to stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of support plans
- Regularly monitor and review participant progress, adjusting strategies and plans as needed
- Advocate for participants to ensure supports are consistent with person-centred and human rights-based approaches
- Accurately document services, case notes, and reports in a timely manner
- Submit Behaviour Support Plans and reports to the NDIS Commission in compliance with legislative and policy standards
- Participate in case discussions, team collaboration, and ongoing professional development opportunities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commission
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or a related field
- Experience working in Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS framework
- Strong report writing and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ABN and relevant insurances (Professional Indemnity & Public Liability)

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: Up to $100.00 per hour
