Job Description
The primary purpose of Enterprise Service Desk Analyst role is to provide 1st and 2nd Level service desk support for ICT incidents and Service Requests, using the incident management and request fulfillment processes, in line with Service Desk objectives.
This role will apply professional expertise within the Technology & Data Services department, supporting the implementation of strategic objectives and enhancing operational effectiveness across Housing Choices Australia as appropriate. This is a maximum-term opportunity for an initial 6-month period as parental leave cover, with the potential for an extension beyond the initial term (subject to business requirements).
Deliver high-quality IT support by managing incidents, service requests, changes, and problem resolution within agreed service level timeframes.
Provide hands-on support for laptops, mobile devices, printers, and business systems, ensuring users can work effectively and efficiently.
Administer user accounts, cloud services, and ICT environments, including Microsoft Azure and Intune, while maintaining security and compliance standards.
Collaborate with internal teams and external managed service providers to resolve complex technical issues and support technology projects.
Maintain IT assets, software licensing, system documentation, knowledge bases, and backup monitoring to ensure reliable and secure service delivery.
Skills and Experiences:
About you
You will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in Service Delivery within a medium to large organisation.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 desktop environments, Microsoft 365 applications, and standardised operating environments (SOE).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, endpoint management, device provisioning and modern workplace technologies.
- Experience with user lifecycle management, including account provisioning, access management, password resets, group membership administration, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Experience using IT service management (ITSM) tools and working within agreed service levels and support processes.
- Excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
