Position details
Location: Gosnells — comfortable, well-equipped, smoke-free family home by the Canning River
Employment type: Casual
Pay: From $46.00 per hour, reviewed at least annually
Shifts
- Immediate start position: 2-hour shifts every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, starting at 6:30 am
- Mid-July start position: 2–3-hour shifts every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, starting at 6:30 am
Minimum paid shift: 2 hours

Your role
You will provide respectful, person-centred support in a private home. Duties include:
- Safe transfers using a ceiling hoist (bed to wheelchair and vice versa)
- Showering, dressing, and grooming
- Personal care, including colostomy support
- Basic wound care
- Occasional breakfast preparation and light household duties
Essential requirements
- Female applicants only
- Good English communication skills
- Friendly, caring, and empathetic nature
- Reliable, punctual, committed, and efficient
- Clean and hygienic presentation
- Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and carry
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Reliable transport is strongly preferred — punctual start times make public transport and ride-share less practical
- Smartphone for rostering and communication
Desirable experience
- Supporting people with spinal cord injuries and colostomy care
- Basic wound care
