You're not the type of safety professional who hides behind policies or spends all day updating registers. You're on the warehouse floor talking to leaders, helping someone return to work after an injury, coaching a manager through a psychosocial risk, then presenting safety insights to senior leadership that afternoon.
You know that great safety isn't about paperwork. It's about people.
If you're the kind of person who builds credibility through relationships, thrives in fast-paced operations and believes safety, wellbeing and business performance go hand in hand, keep reading.
Be visible. Be trusted. Be the person leaders turn to before small issues become serious ones.
You'll partner with operational leaders across Australia to create safer, healthier and more engaged workplaces. From leading incident investigations and managing complex workers' compensation cases to coaching leaders through psychosocial risks and driving meaningful safety improvements, you'll play a critical role in shaping how safety is experienced every day.
This isn't a role where you'll inherit a mature program and simply maintain it. You'll have the opportunity to continuously improve systems, influence decision-making and build capability across the business.
You'll also be at the forefront of how Safety and People adopt AI at Marley Spoon — using technology to identify trends, streamline administration, improve reporting and make smarter decisions, while keeping human judgement where it belongs: at the centre of every conversation.
You'll have genuine autonomy to make decisions. We'll back you.
Safety risks are identified and addressed before they become incidents because you're present, visible and trusted.
Leaders confidently manage safety, wellbeing and return-to-work responsibilities because you've built their capability.
Workers' compensation and injury management are proactive, supportive and focused on achieving great outcomes for both people and the business.
Our safety systems continue to evolve through practical improvements, not bureaucracy.
People see Safety as a genuine business partner, not just someone who turns up after something has gone wrong.
You've built your career partnering with operational leaders in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, warehousing or another fast-paced operational environment.
You know Australian WHS legislation and workers' compensation inside out.
You're equally comfortable investigating incidents, facilitating risk assessments, coaching leaders through difficult conversations and presenting meaningful insights to senior stakeholders.
You're practical, approachable and commercially minded. You know how to balance compliance with getting the job done.
You're curious about how AI can improve the way we work—not to replace people, but to help us make better decisions, reduce administration and focus on what matters most.
Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Human Resources or a related discipline are highly regarded.
Most importantly: you bring the mindset to match.
