ARA is seeking a talented and experienced Human Resource Manager to join their HR team to help support the growth.
Location: 9B Commercial Rd, Kingsgrove NSW 2208
Full time: 38 hours per week
Salary: $80,000.00 per annum + Superannuation
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement, monitor, review, and evaluate human resource strategies, policies, and plans that support organisational goals and business objectives
- Provide guidance and support to managers on best practices for recruitment, selection, onboarding, training and employee development
- Design, implement, and manage performance management systems to enhance individual and team performance
- Lead employee relations by representing the organisation in negotiations with employees and unions regarding remuneration employment conditions and workplace agreements
- Develop and oversee occupational health and safety initiatives, and equal employment opportunity programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Manage workforce planning processes, including redundancy and retrenchment programs, ensuring fair and compliant implementation.
- Monitor labour costs, workforce productivity, and HR metrics to support organisational performance and informed decision-making
- Advise and train managers on human resource policies, employment legislation, workplace relations, and people management practices
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, organisational policies, and industry standards
- Foster a positive workplace culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement
Requires skills and attributes:
- Strong knowledge of human resource management principles, employment legislation, and workplace relations
- Excellent recruitment, interviewing, and talent acquisition skills
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Min 1 year of experience in a related field
- Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a relevant field
