Senior Data Engineer Consultant

What you'll actually be doing
You'll be working as a Senior Consultant, which means you'll be hands-on with our customers - designing, building, and optimising data platforms and pipelines. No two days look the same, but here's the kind of work you'll be getting stuck into:
- Building and maintaining data pipelines using AWS Glue and PySpark - not just spinning up jobs, but thinking about how data flows end-to-end
- Designing and optimising data warehouses in AWS Redshift - performance tuning, schema design, making sure things actually scale
- Working directly with customers to understand their data challenges and translating that into solid engineering solutions
- Owning the technical delivery on projects - you're senior, so we expect you to lead the data engineering work and guide others where needed
- Getting involved in architecture discussions and helping shape how we approach data problems
What we need from you
- Strong, proven data engineering skills - this isn't a role where you'll be learning the basics
- Real experience with AWS Glue - you know the quirks, the limitations, and how to get the most out of it
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS Redshift - not just querying it, but designing and managing it
- PySpark - you can write efficient, production-quality code
- You're comfortable working at a consultancy pace - different customers, different problems, context switching
Bonus points
- Data modelling skills - if you can think about how data should be structured, not just how to move it, that's a big plus

Pay: $120,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
