A Plumber installs, repairs, and maintains water, gas, drainage, and sewerage systems in homes, commercial buildings, and industrial sites. They also fit fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, hot water systems, and pipes, inspect plumbing systems for faults, read blueprints, and ensure work complies with safety and building regulations.
Typical duties include:
Installing water supply, drainage, and gas piping.
Repairing leaks, blocked drains, and damaged pipes.
Installing toilets, sinks, taps, and hot water systems.
Testing plumbing systems for safety and performance.
Reading plans and following building codes.
Using hand and power tools to cut, join, and fit pipes.
Pay: $7,000.00 – $9,500.00 per month
