Disability Support Worker | Port Macquarie & Kew
About the Role
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Disability Support Workers to support our participants in
Port Macquarie and Kew.
The role involves assisting participants with personal care, domestic tasks, daily errands and social activities while promoting independence, confidence and choice.
Shifts
Available across Monday to Sunday.
Ideally, applicants will have availability between
8:00am and 6:00pm & sleepovers and be flexible to support the participant’s weekly routine and community activities.
About You
We are looking for Support Workers who are:
- Patient, reliable and respectful
- Positive, compassionate and person-centred
- Confident supporting community access and daily routines
- Skilled at encouraging independence and building confidence
- Good problem-solvers with strong communication skills
- Comfortable supporting planning, appointments and safe community participation
Certificates & Licences Required
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working with Children Check – Employee
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Australian Driver’s Licence and fully insured vehicle
Pay Rates
E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)
SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):
- Base hourly rate: $36.81
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday) $41.23
- Saturday: $51.54
- Sunday: $66.26
- Public holiday: $80.99
