Due to an increase in workload, RSC Global Pty Ltd are seeking to appoint a Project Resource Geologist to join our team on a permanent basis for work based in Perth and requiring to work in remote areas of regional WA. This is a full-time role.
The Role
A Project Resource Geologist performs key geological and technical duties to create value and make a positive difference for RSC, its clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Reporting to a Principal Resource Geologist, to be considered for this role you will require the following attributes and experience as a minimum:
· Minimum bachelors degree in geology;
· 2 to 5 years experience in the resource geology and exploration industry with exposure to a variety of commodities including precious metals, base metals and critical raw materials;
· A deep understanding of mineral systems science to be able complete assessments of projects using the mineral-system-science approach;
· Excellent report writing skills;
· Extensive experience working within a mining consultancy environment and delivering technical projects for a range of clients.
· Expertise in 3D geological modelling and proficient in the use of 3D modelling and estimation software (Datamine Studio RM, ArcGiS, Vulcan, Leapfrog and Isatis);
· Expertise in EDA, domain definition, variography, estimation and interpolation methods, validation.
· Proficient in R&D project facilitation;
· Extensive background in geometallurgical models (Geometallurgical Unit definition and block model’s estimation and regressions of recovery and comminution parameters);
· Experience in conducting technical audits and database and documentation validations (QA/QC) in compliance with JORC and NI 43-101 standards, providing technical reviews and due diligence support.
· Proficient in developing mathematical formulations and programming scripts for automated data processing, including proficiency in using Python, SQL
· Ability to translate English to Spanish is highly desirable;
· Need to be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing (as required);
· Have a current WA Police clearance;
· Hold a full clean manual WA driver’s licence, or international unrestricted licence

Key Performance Indicators applied to the role include the following
· All technical work is carried out to high technical standards, according to RSCs Code of Conduct, internal policies, and standard operating procedures.
· Progress of technical work is detailed regularly (updated reports provided weekly and monthly).
· Technical reporting is completed to a high standard and on time.
· Communications on work progress with the Principal Resource Geologist are accurate and timely.
· Good time management, leading to high effective productivity, is achieved.
