Hi Everyone! We are looking for a few support workers to join our team. It would be best if you are from the area and know the location well. Someone who is familiar with the area may be better able to navigate and understand the local location. You would need to be comfortable with driving a modified car/van too.
Role Overview: As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with disabilities in their daily activities and promoting their independence. Your compassionate approach and dedication will help improve the quality of life for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming).
- Support clients in accessing the community and participating in social and recreational activities.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other support staff.
- Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
- Assist with medication management and ensure the safe administration of prescribed medications.
- Document client progress and report any changes in behavior or health to the appropriate team members.
- Promote a safe and healthy environment for clients, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.

Pay: $33.68 – $74.72 per hour
