A quick word on why this studio exists, because it is the kind of room you will be coaching in.
Someone once saw potential in me and put good coaches around me, and it changed the direction of my life. I built BFT Mascot to do that for people, every session. I back my coaches the same way.
So I am not looking for someone to just fill a slot. I am looking for a coach who loves the floor and the people on it, and who makes every member glad they showed up.
The role
You coach our sessions on the floor. That means leading the room, running our programmed format, cueing clean technique, and giving every member a session they leave buzzing about.
This is coaching, pure and simple. No sales, no admin, no chasing. Just great sessions and real connection with the people in front of you. The members you coach are what make this place what it is, so how you make them feel matters as much as the workout itself.
The hours
Casual and flexible, around 15 to 20 hours a week across our session times. Coaching hours are early mornings and evenings by nature, which makes this a great fit if you are building your coaching career, studying, or fitting it around another role or family. Tell me your availability and we will build a roster that works for both of us.
Who you are
Two things are non-negotiable:
- You know strength training and how the body moves. Solid technique and sharp cueing are the floor, not the ceiling. Members trust a coach who clearly knows their craft.
- You deliver our format as programmed, not your own version of it. Our sessions are built and coached a certain way for a reason. If you are excited to deliver that brilliantly, this is for you. If you want to run your own thing, it is not.
The rest of what I care about:
- You can coach a room, not just one person. Holding the energy, timing, and connection of a full floor is a real skill.
- You genuinely like people. You remember names, you notice the quiet ones, and you make everyone feel like they belong.
- You are reliable. Casual does not mean casual about showing up. When you are rostered, the room is counting on you.
- You are comfortable on camera. We create a bit of content, so being happy on video is a nice bonus.
Practical must-haves: a current Certificate III & IV in Fitness (or equivalent), and current First Aid and CPR.
Room to grow
Casual is often where the best people start here. Coaches who are brilliant and reliable get first pick of extra hours, and the first look when bigger roles open up. If you want more than a side gig down the track, there is a path.
How to apply
Send me a few lines on who you are, your qualifications, and your availability, plus a note on a session or a member moment you are proud of. That tells me more than a resume does.
I read every one personally.
