The VPS5 Advisor in the Office of the Deputy Secretary supports the work of BFS at its most senior executive level.
You will be at the forefront of critical decision making, supporting the Deputy Secretary to deliver on a range of commitments that directly interface with the Minister for Environment and the Secretary, DEECA.
You will be relied upon by senior executives as a key support point for the delivery of critical pieces of work.
You will interact with many different stakeholders who will come to you for advice and guidance on navigating complex approvals pathways.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
Qualifications in a relevant discipline would be desirable
An understanding of the processes and levers that apply to government is essential
This is a fixed term position available until 30 June 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
