About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Civil & Infrastructure team delivering critical civil infrastructure works supporting Australia's Defence capability near Whyalla, South Australia.
Working closely with the Project Manager and an experienced delivery team, you'll play a key role in the successful delivery of the project, providing technical leadership while managing procurement, contract administration, scheduling, cost control and stakeholder engagement.
This permanent full-time role operates on a Drive-In Drive-Out (DIDO) roster, with accommodation and applicable work-away allowances provided.

What You'll Do
- Lead and support engineering and site teams throughout project delivery.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Manage procurement, contract administration, project scheduling and cost control.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting, progress claims and variations.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure quality and compliance standards are maintained.
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
- Mentor Project Engineers and site personnel.
- Prepare and review technical documentation, RFIs and project reporting.
- Identify project risks and opportunities while supporting successful project delivery.
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum five years' experience delivering civil infrastructure or construction projects.
- Strong commercial, contract administration and project management experience.
- Experience managing procurement, subcontractors and project planning.
- Sound understanding of project budgets, forecasting and reporting.
- Experience using project management platforms such as InEight, Aconex or Procore.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership experience working with project teams.
- Current White Card and Driver's Licence.
- National Police Clearance
