Role Description/Criteria

The position
We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised part time Receptionist (approx. 0.52 FTE) to join our team and be the welcoming face of our School. The Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members of our school community, visitors and the general public both in person and over the phone. As the first point of contact, you’ll play a critical role in creating a positive and inclusive environment. This busy role also assists with a range of daily administration tasks.
Loreto Toorak main Reception operates from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is staffed by two team members. This part-time position is rostered to work Tuesday to Friday from 12:00pm to 5:00pm with some flexibility available across the working days. This is a fixed-term, term-time only role, commencing at the start of Term 3, Tuesday 21 July and concluding at the end of Term 4, Friday 4 December 2026.
About You
The ideal candidate will thrive on creating a positive first impression and enjoy working in a busy, collaborative and supportive environment. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong administration, IT/ tech and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
