In this role, you'll:
Be working as part of a team to develop various road safety infrastructure and speed management projects and programs to address road safety risks and improve road safety performance in Sydney’s multi modal network.
This role will see you contribute to road safety project pipeline development, investigate and resolve road safety issues, support stakeholder engagement, provide project and program pipeline reporting, and build capability in project management, contract administration and road safety program prioritisation.
You will support the development of tactical road safety solutions and the development of the forward pipeline to support multiple road safety programs in a complex and constrained urban environment with competing priorities and diverse stakeholder needs.

About you
Your experience developing traffic and safety projects, capability using computer based project management tools formed across civil engineering and road safety/traffic engineering environments and knowledge of relevant policies, guidelines, Australian Standards, will see you successfully develop multiple concurrent projects and build the program pipeline, resolve technical issues, apply evidence-based analysis, and contribute to improved safety outcomes across the network.
You’re recognised as someone who collaborates effectively, delivers results, thinks and solves problems, and acts with integrity. You are skilled at researching and analysing crash and project data, developing briefs, and supporting procurement and contract management. You have strong experienced in traffic and safety based infrastructure development, stakeholder engagement, and applying WHS, environmental and quality management practices.
You will possess a four-year civil engineering degree from an Australian university or an equivalent overseas qualification acceptable for professional recognition within Australia as well as a valid Australian motor vehicle driver’s license and be willing to work outside regular working hours and travel on occasion.
