About the Role:

The Decision Support Unit (DSU) plays a critical role in supporting clinicians, managers and executives across the organisation with the information needed to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care.
Led by an Executive Group Manager reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the DSU works collaboratively across CHS to ensure information is reliable, accessible and clinically relevant. This supports effective planning, informed decision-making and improved patient outcomes.
The DSU promotes accountability in achieving strategic and clinical priorities and strengthens organisational capability to align Activity Based Funding with service delivery and operational planning. It is also responsible for delivering ICT services, maintaining data integrity, providing Health Information Services, and supporting both clinical and non-clinical planning through high-quality reporting and decision support.
Reporting to the Director, Data Quality, the Assistant Director, Data Quality is a key leadership position within the DSU.
This role is responsible for analysing, interpreting and enhancing clinical data to support strategic and operational decision-making across CHS, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory and reporting requirements. The position works closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to ensure timely access to accurate and reliable data.
In this role, you will help translate clinical data into actionable insights, supporting high-quality patient care and enabling effective and efficient health service delivery across CHS.
