What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse within the Outpatients Department, you will provide high-quality, person-centred, evidence-informed nursing care that promotes positive patient outcomes. Working collaboratively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while maintaining the highest professional and clinical standards.
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Provide timely, accurate clinical documentation and maintain patient records in accordance with NSW Health requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate high-quality outpatient care.
- Support and mentor Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and colleagues while contributing to a positive team environment.
- Promote continuous quality improvement, evidence-based practice and compliance with professional standards, policies and the NSW Health Code of Conduct.

Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Currently authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

1. Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD
2. Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients
3. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail
4. Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
