An upmarket restaurant specializing in a multi cuisine share plate menu on the Central Coast is seeking an Apprentice Chef with at least 6 months experience in the trade. Shifts are from Tuesday to Saturday. Would suit someone who is keen to learn and seeking a better work/life balance.
The position is to assist the Head Chef during service and in food preparation. Must be competent, confident and able to work well under pressure. Must be able to follow instructions, read recipes and complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Must have a passion for their trade and take pride in everything they do. Experience in restaurants or similar establishments Is desirable but not essential.
Great work environment and opportunity to work in one of the Central Coast's top restaurants. Pay is based on the adult apprenticeship rate and first year apprenticeship. Pay will differ by age and level of apprenticeship.
