THE ROLE
The Portfolio Coordinator provides coordination and operational support to the Portfolio Management team within the Portfolio Management Office (PMO). The role supports the effective operation of portfolio governance, reporting and ways of working by maintaining accurate portfolio information, coordinating portfolio activities and supporting consistent portfolio processes.
The role contributes to portfolio effectiveness by coordinating reporting inputs, tracking actions and approvals, supporting governance forums and assisting with the embedding of portfolio frameworks, tools and processes. This includes providing administrative and coordination support to the Portfolio Manager, as well as supporting communication and engagement activities such as workshops, guidance material and updates to help promote consistent portfolio practices across the organisation.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver, or facilitate the delivery of, effective support and services.
