We are seeking a Bid Professional to join our high-performing sales organisation in Australia. This role is central to translating customer requirements into technically sound, commercially robust proposals that support successful project delivery and long-term customer partnerships.
About the Role
In this role, you will provide technical and operational support across the sales and bidding process - working closely with sales teams and customers both remotely and on-site. You will help design, develop, and refine proposals that integrate Innomotics’ solutions into complex industrial environments.
You will be responsible for preparing high-quality bids and supporting the full lifecycle of proposal development, from early concept through to contract award and technical handover.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, design, and complete technical customer bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and fit-for-purpose solutions

Conduct site surveys to support base design, installation planning, and technical feasibility assessments

Analyse customer technical environments to determine optimal product and system integration approaches

Provide technical input and support throughout all stages of the bid and proposal process

Review technical drawings, schematics, and installation plans

Where required, manage subcontractors during bid development or project execution phases

Act as a trusted technical advisor to both customers and internal sales teams
About You
You are a technically strong professional who enjoys working at the intersection of engineering and commercial outcomes. You are confident interpreting technical documentation, engaging stakeholders, and shaping solutions that meet both customer and business needs.
You bring:

Engineering or technical qualification in electrical, mechanical, or related discipline, or relevant/equivalent work experience.

Experience in variable speed drives (preferred)

Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts

Experience in bid management, proposal development

Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
