Light Vehicle Mechanics who are ready to take the next step in their career.
If you're a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic looking to broaden your skills and build a long-term career, this is your opportunity to transition into the growing materials handling industry.
No prior forklift experience is required. From day one, you'll be partnered with a qualified technician who will mentor and support you while you develop the skills and confidence to become a Service Specialist. With full training, ongoing coaching and a clear career pathway, you'll soon be working on industry-leading Hyster and Yale forklifts as part of one of Australia's leading materials handling businesses.
What You Will Be Doing Day-to-Day:
- Service, repair and maintain Hyster and Yale forklifts and material handling equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Complete scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Learn new technologies through ongoing manufacturer and in-house training
- Work alongside experienced technicians while developing your technical skills
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For:
- Trade qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
- Experience working within an automotive dealership or workshop environment
- Passion for diagnostics, fault finding and problem solving
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn new equipment and technologies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- A positive attitude and commitment to safety
- No forklift experience required – we'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.
