As our business continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Supermarket Store Manager to lead our team and drive exceptional store performance. If you've worked with major retailers such as Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Costco, IGA, FoodWorks or other high-volume retail businesses and are ready for a rewarding leadership opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As Store Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring outstanding customer service, strong sales growth and excellent operational standards.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop a large retail team.
- Deliver an outstanding customer shopping experience.
- Drive sales through merchandising, promotions and visual presentation.
- Manage inventory, ordering, replenishment and stock control.
- Oversee grocery, fresh produce, homewares, cookware, dinnerware, kitchenware and general merchandise departments.
- Monitor stock levels, shrinkage, wastage and inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, receiving and stock transfers.
- Ensure pricing accuracy and promotional execution.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and workplace safety.
- Analyse sales and KPI performance to improve profitability.
- Lead by example and support the team during busy trading periods.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Supermarket Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager or Department Manager.
- Experience working in a high-volume supermarket or large-format retail environment.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent merchandising and visual presentation experience.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and stock control.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to improve sales and control costs.
- A hands-on leadership style with a positive attitude.
- Availability to work 5–6 days per week, including weekends when required.

Pay: $60,709.59 – $80,000.00 per year
