We are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead our Welshpooloperations You will play a critical role in supporting the State Manager and leading site operations to achieve business objectives, financial targets, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leading people and equipment resources across the warehouse and customer service functions to meet customer and business requirements.
Ensuring procedures, processes, and practices are performed in line with our quality management system.
Ensuring workers hold current licenses and certificates of competency in line with legislative and company requirements and are adequately trained to work safely and efficiently.
Managing the performance of your direct reports and their teams against business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Overseeing day-to-day operational/administrative procedures as well as overall site performance and security
Regular reviewing of revenue and costs reports including the identification of any discrepancies for action
Responsible for profit and loss of the site, including reporting requirements, and taking corrective action as required to ensure financial objectives are met.
Identifying, evaluating, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to maximise the efficiency and productivity of the site.
Ensure compliance with all OH&S requirements and adhering to the company Occupational Health & Safety Policy
Leading CHEP account management and transfers
Ensuring compliance with segregation and storage requirements
Conducting and/or assisting in the conduct of risk assessments
Participating as a senior leader in the site Emergency Response Plan (ERP) and ensuring it is followed.
Ensuring compliance with ISO requirements
Ensuring HACCP process, equipment and standards are met, and taking part in system/process reviews.
About you
Here are the skills and attributes you'll need to be considered for this role.
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience managing and evaluating the performance of warehouse staff and processes against key performance indicators (KPIs)
Proven experience in reviewing revenue and costs to ensure financial objectives are met
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic warehouse management system / transport management system software
Demonstrated ability to manage resources to ensure efficient and effective outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership of a team to deliver business outcomes.
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment to meet timeframes.
High level verbal and written communication skills.
High conceptual, analytical, influence and problem-solving skills
Experience in the provision of third-party logistics (3PL) to the chemical industry
Knowledge of Australian Dangerous Goods Code (ADG) and/ or Dangerous Goods Storage & Handling Regulations
