Your Role & Responsibilities
Working alongside an experienced team of Registered Nurses, you will deliver exceptional, efficient care in close collaboration with our GPs and administrative staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting patient triage and managing daily presentations.
- Assisting GPs with acute emergency and injury management.
- Overseeing the clinical treatment room and maintaining stock control.
- Delivering Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans and comprehensive Health Assessments.
- Administering vaccinations and assisting with iron infusions.
What We Are Looking For:
Essential:
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous General Practice experience is essential.
- A patient-focused approach backed by exceptional communication and customer service skills.
- A collaborative "team player" mindset with a proven ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Strong digital literacy and confidence utilizing clinical/scheduling software.
- A positive, resilient, and "can-do" attitude.
Highly Regarded:
- Prior experience working within an accredited general practice.
- Proficiency using Best Practice clinical software.
- A current Nurse Immuniser certificate.
- Strong hands-on experience in care planning and chronic disease management.
- Experience conducting pre-employment medical screenings (including spirometry, audiometric testing, and drug & alcohol screening).
