What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse Instrument & Circulating, you will provide high quality, person centred perioperative nursing care while supporting safe and efficient surgical services. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you'll advocate for patients, respond confidently in a fast paced environment and contribute to exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Deliver safe, evidence based instrument and circulating nursing care throughout the perioperative journey
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes
- Assess patient needs, respond to changing clinical situations and coordinate appropriate care and discharge planning
- Support, supervise and mentor students and other nursing staff while fostering a positive learning environment
- Manage resources effectively while maintaining professional standards, cultural respect and quality patient care
