About the Role
SCOTS is seeking a casual relief General English teacher to join our teaching team from Wednesday, 17 June 2026 to 21st of July 2026. The teacher is required to teach Monday-Thursday, 2 days per week elementary, and 2 days per week upper-intermediate, 8:00 to 13:30.There may be an opportunity for the teacher to continue teaching 2 days per week after that period.
Key Criteria
- A minimum of a 3-year diploma or Bachelor degree
- A CELTA qualification or other TESOL credential that includes at least 120 hours with a supervised practicum
- Familiarity with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) — American, British, or Australian — and a general understanding of phonetics and phonology
Desired Criteria
- Substantial experience in ESL/EFL classroom teaching
- Working knowledge of major English language proficiency tests (e.g., IELTS, Cambridge, PTE)
