We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components according to engineering drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal materials.
Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding as required.
Fabricate structural steel, metalwork, and custom components.
Operate fabrication equipment such as grinders, drills, saws, and presses.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
Repair and modify existing metal structures and equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.
Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and other tradespeople to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Competency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good physical fitness and ability to handle manual tasks.
Relevant trade qualification or welding certification (preferred).
Valid driver's licence (preferred).
