About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Depending on your area of expertise, you will be responsible for supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, safety, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care in accordance with professional standards and best practice.

Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Maintain a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Advocate for patients and promote positive patient outcomes.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development.

Contribute to a positive, supportive, and team-focused workplace culture.
Requirements of the Role
-
At least 12 months of perioperative experience as per perioperative standards.

Tertiary qualification in nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulations Agency (AHPRA).

Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices.

Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in a perioperative setting.
You will be required to have or be willing to obtain:

Verification of eligibility to work in Australia.

Identification check validation.

Police check clearance.
-
Working with Children (WWC) check.
