The Role
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and experienced Office Manager / Bookkeeper to oversee our day-to-day office administration and manage our financial record-keeping. This is a critical dual role that acts as the backbone of our local operations. You will be responsible for ensuring our South Granville office runs smoothly while maintaining precise financial accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping & Accounting:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (processing invoices, supplier payments, and chasing aged debtors).
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly IAS and BAS.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports for management.
Office Administration:
- Oversee general office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional environment.
- Manage office inventory, track utilities, and order office/kitchen supplies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external vendors, IT support, facility maintenance, and building management.
- Support local management with ad-hoc administrative tasks, scheduling, and document control.
- Assist with incoming calls, mail sorting, and welcoming occasional visitors or couriers.
What We Are Looking For
To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience in both office administration and hands-on bookkeeping/accounting.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a combined Bookkeeper and Office Manager (or similar) role.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong proficiency in an advanced accounting software (e.g., any ERP system) and Google Workspace (particularly Sheets).
- Organisation Skills: Exceptional time management, multi-tasking abilities, and a high level of attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Autonomy: A self-starter who can work independently to meet tight deadlines while remaining a collaborative team player.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
