What you'll be doing
Your role as a Retail Trainer sits within the Retail Training team, which is responsible for creating and delivering learning solutions regarding our products and best practice sales training. Reporting to the Head of Retail Training, based in Australia, you will partner with a wide range of senior stakeholders on multiple learning projects that span digital, face-to-face and informal mediums.
This is a full-time role based primarily in New South Wales. Your main focus will be on Freedom stores located in and around the Sydney area, and you will travel to collaborate with our teams throughout the state. Although your base will be in New South Wales, you may also be required to support stores in other states and in New Zealand.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the curation of Freedom's sales and product training strategy in partnership with the Head of Retail Training.
- Delivering engaging and inspiring workshops both face-to-face and digitally across ANZ to all sales teams.
- Supporting stores through 1-2-1 and small group training to help embed sales skills and product knowledge.
- Working with the training team to design, develop and deliver blended learning solutions - including face-to-face programs and online modules - that meet defined learning objectives and engage a diverse retail audience.
- Playing an active role in managing and maintaining Freedom's Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, well-organised and accessible across the network.
- Supporting the ongoing evaluation and updating of learning content to ensure accuracy and relevance as Freedom evolves.
- Working alongside the training team to design, develop and deliver Freedom's induction program, ensuring new starters are onboarded effectively and set up for success from day one.
- Assisting in tracking training completion, learner progress and performance outcomes through the LMS to surface insights and inform future learning priorities.
- Partnering with key stakeholders - including area leaders and product and buying teams - to identify skill gaps and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
