About the role
As a Senior Public Health Support Officer, you will be responsible for managing a broad range of administrative activities, from coordinating meetings and maintaining records to supporting core business systems and processes. Your ability to organise workflows, maintain accurate information, and respond to competing priorities will be essential in supporting both day-to-day operations and time-sensitive public health responses.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces;
Provide general administrative support services and develop and maintain administrative procedures and systems to assist the Unit to function effectively;
Provide confidential secretariat support for both internal and external meetings as required;
Implement and administer departmental information systems, including those relating to financial, human resource management, correspondence, records management and plant and equipment;
Provide high quality support using a range of software packages and databases to maintain and improve administration processes.
