We’re seeking a passionate Risk Enablement Specialist who is ready to grow their risk career while helping the business embed strong, sustainable risk practices. Reporting to the Senior Risk Enablement Partner, you’ll partner closely with the business to strengthen first line risk capability, support enterprise risk initiatives, and help teams confidently deliver on their risk and compliance responsibilities.
What You’ll Do
- Design and deliver engaging risk and compliance learning programs that build capability across the organisation.
- Develop practical tools, resources and training materials that bring risk frameworks and obligations to life.
- Partner with business leaders, change teams and first-line stakeholders to assess and uplift risk capability maturity.
- Support the implementation of enterprise risk and compliance framework changes, ensuring teams are equipped for
- successful adoption.
- Facilitate risk enablement initiatives that strengthen accountability, ownership and risk culture.
- Conduct learning/capability reviews and identify opportunities to improve risk practices, processes and behaviours.
- Support ongoing development of first-line teams to ensure they understand risk frameworks, tools and ways of working.
What You’ll Bring
You are a collaborative and commercially minded risk professional who enjoys influencing others and translating complex concepts into practical outcomes.
You’ll bring:
- Experience in risk enablement, operational risk, risk advisory or a related risk discipline, ideally within financial services or superannuation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management frameworks, governance and compliance obligations.
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering learning, training or capability development programs.
- Experience supporting risk uplift initiatives, process improvements or capability-building programs.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and consulting skills, with the ability to influence and build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex risk concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
- Experience with Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) platforms such as Archer or Protecht.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, law, risk management or a related discipline.
