An exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturer at the launch of its
brand-new automated production facility in Truganina.
Starting in July, you'll complete training in Queensland before returning to Melbourne to lead the site's maintenance function ahead of its September opening. As the
first Maintenance Fitter on site, you'll have the unique opportunity to build the maintenance team from the ground up and progress into a management role as the operation grows.

What will you do?
- Performing preventative, predictive and breakdown maintenance across automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Fault finding on mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Planning and coordinating preventative maintenance schedules
- Managing the CMMS, maintenance records and spare parts inventory
- Driving continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
- Coordinating contractors and shutdown activities
- Supporting commissioning and future expansion of the site
- Recruiting, mentoring and leading the maintenance team as the business grows
What will you need?
- Trade qualified fitter with proven experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding and preventative maintenance experience
- Exposure to automated manufacturing equipment
- Experience working with PLC-controlled machinery
- Previous leadership, team leader or supervisory experience, or the ambition to step into your first leadership role
- Full Australian working rights without requiring sponsorship
- Full Australian driving licence
