We’re looking for a Financial Controller & Operations Lead.

We need a detail-obsessed, take-charge professional who's ready to own finance, reporting, and client operations across multiple entities—and turn complexity into clarity.

What You’ll Own
Finance & Control
- Full-cycle accounting and reporting across multiple entities (Xero/MYOB)
- Cashflow forecasting, budgeting, and KPI tracking that drives smarter strategy
- Liaising with accountants, lenders, and advisors on high-stakes matters
- Monthly financial dashboards and executive summaries that leadership actually uses
- Precise management of payroll, BAS, and all compliance—no loose ends
Operations & Systems
- Designing and implementing efficient systems for contracts, invoicing, and project tracking
- Maintaining audit-ready, impeccably organised financial and operational records
- Building structured documentation for active property and education ventures
- Identifying bottlenecks and rolling out process improvements—quietly, thoroughly, and permanently
Client & Project Coordination
- Ensuring timely, accurate invoicing and reporting for clients and partners
- Communicating with families, suppliers, and stakeholders with empathy and clarity
- Representing the group with professionalism, trust, and care at every touchpoint
Growth Support
- Playing a key role in managing deliverables during new acquisitions and expansions
- Coordinating seamless information flow between finance, operations, and leadership
- Preparing clear reports, presentations, and summaries for partners and lenders
Who You Are
- 5+ years in finance, accounting, or operations—ideally across multiple business streams
- Highly organised, deeply dependable, and obsessive about confidentiality
- A calm, clear communicator who thrives on structure, follow-through, and precision
- Looking for a long-term partnership, not just another contract
- Humble yet ambitious—more focused on contribution and mastery than titles
- Bonus points if you've worked in property, education, or investment environments
