About the Role
We are urgently seeking compassionate and reliable support workers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be delivering in-home and community-based supports tailored to each client's physical, emotional, and social needs. You will be instrumental in empowering clients to live meaningfully and achieve their personal goals.
You will also play a key role in building rapport and providing consistent, trauma-informed, and person-centered support across daily routines and community activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering personal care and daily living assistance (including high-intensity needs)
- Supporting clients with mental health and psycho-social recovery goals
- Promoting community participation and social inclusion
- Assisting with meal preparation, domestic duties, and hygiene
- Administering medication in line with care plans
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting incidents where required
- Providing positive behaviour support and emotional encouragement
- Collaborating with clients, families, and allied agencies
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- Minimum 6 months experience in disability, mental health, aged care, or community services
- Lived experience or multilingual skills are highly regarded
Requirements (Mandatory):
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- WA Working with Children Check
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
- First Aid & CPR Certification
- Smartphone and ability to use support apps
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate III/IV in Disability, Mental Health, Aged Care, or related field
- Medication administration training or high-intensity support modules
