The IT Business Analyst is a newly created role that collaborates with stakeholders across the organisation to map current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
THE ROLE
The IT Business Analyst is part of the IT team working under the direction of the IT Manager. The role acts as a link between business operations, internal stakeholders and external vendors/providers to ensure technology solutions provide practical, value-driven outcomes across the organisation.
Working closely with stakeholders the IT Business Analyst gathers information to ensure technology solutions align with organisational needs and goals, supporting project delivery and improving systems. The role drives clarity, alignment and continuous improvement through strong analysis, communications and problem solving.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, excels at process mapping, and is enthusiastic about using innovative technology to improve the way the business operates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems or related field
- Commercial experience (2-3+ years) as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience requirements gathering, business process analysis and systems documentation
- Previous experience in the healthcare sector delivering IT projects and IT services (desirable).
