About the role
The Content Strategy and Design Lead sets the strategic direction for content across DTP’s digital channels, ensuring it aligns with the Digital Experience Strategy and delivers a consistent, user-centred customer experience. The role provides expert advice on content strategy, content design, governance and standards, helping shape how information is structured and communicated across web, social, video and other digital platforms.
Working closely with content and digital teams, the role develops governance frameworks, accessibility and quality standards, and supports cross-functional projects with communication planning and content design expertise. It uses research, analytics and customer insights to drive continuous improvement, ensuring content remains accessible, effective, consistent and aligned with business and customer needs.

Leads and evaluates digital communications and campaigns, using research, insights and brand expertise to maximise engagement and achieve business objectives.

Qualifications and experience
You’ll bring:

Tertiary qualifications in communications, digital media, content design, information management, UX writing, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience, with demonstrated experience developing user experience design concepts using modern design tools such as Figma (mandatory).

Proven experience developing content governance frameworks, standards, style guides and content design systems to support consistent, user-centred digital experiences (mandatory).

Experience contributing to multidisciplinary digital projects, with knowledge of accessibility (WCAG 2.1), content usability, information architecture, CMS platforms, analytics tools and multi-channel content planning being highly regarded.
