We are seeking an experienced Field Inspector to conduct thorough site inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties on behalf of our clients. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for traveling to property locations, conducting detailed inspections, and producing high-quality reports that include measurements, documentation, and photographs.
Qualifications: Although formal qualifications are not required, preference will be given to candidates with experience in property, building, or construction. We provide comprehensive training to all hires.
Role Requirements:
- Ability to conduct highly detailed reports with strong attention to detail and analytical skills, including proficiency in area measurements (square meters).
- Competency with iPad/iPhone (required, no Android devices), computer skills, and familiarity with relevant apps.
- Strong command of grammar and spelling.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanour.
- Valid police clearance certificate (must be current).
Essentials for Application:
- Own an iPad or iPhone (no Android).
- Reliable and presentable vehicle.
- Valid driver’s license.
- ABN & Public Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Position Details:
- Pay: $105 per inspection.
- Flexible Schedule: The number of inspections varies week to week. You might have three inspections one week, five the next, and only one the following week. There are no set days or times, so we can coordinate with your availability. Ideally, you’ll be available most weekdays (after-hours and weekends are less frequent).
- Casual Position: Perfect for supplemental income or work during school hours.
- Location: Inspections across Canberra and the ACT region.
