Hands On Science is on the lookout for engaging, enthusiastic presenters to deliver fun, hands-on science programs in primary schools across Victoria.
Hands On Science has been delivering interactive science incursions to Victorian schools for over 25 years. Our team visits schools with fully planned, curriculum-aligned sessions designed to spark curiosity and make science exciting for students.
We make science fun, practical, and memorable - and we’re looking for people who can do the same.
You’ll travel to primary schools and run 90-minute hands-on science workshops for groups of up to 30 students.
Each session is fully planned and resourced - your job is to bring it to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering interactive science workshops (Prep–Year 6)
- Engaging students through demonstrations and activities
- Managing classroom behaviour in a fun, positive way
- Travelling to schools across Melbourne and surrounding areas
- Representing the brand with energy and professionalism
What We’re Looking For
- Confident, energetic presenters (teaching/performing experience a plus)
- Passion for science, education, or working with children
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
- Driver’s licence and access to a car (essential)
