Wickham Freight Lines is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator - All rounder to join our team at the WFL Melbourne Terminal, located in Derrimut. This is a permanent, full-time position with a start time of 8.30am Monday to Friday.
Duties will include:
- Load/unload trucks with operation of Forklift
- Liaise with logistics team in regards to paperwork
- Load/unload trucks when required
- Ensure loads are properly restrained
- Coupling and uncoupling trailers
- Trailer movements including reversing trailers onto docks
- Washing of Trucks and trailers
- Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment
Skills and Experience:
- You'll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctly at all times
- Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
- Willing to undertake Drug and Alcohol testing
- Valid Forklift ticket (Forklift Role)
- Current HR Drivers Licence will be beneficial (Tug Driving)
- Flexibility with working hours including potential weekends as required
