golosa cafè in Surry is looking for the right candidate to cover the full time position of retail manager and must have at least one year of experience in Australia in the same role.
Salary will be discussed on the level of experience but will be between $ 76,515 to $ 79,500+ super .
Skill and Experience Required:
- At least one (1) year of full-time relevant work experience (or equivalent part-time experience) in a retail management, café management, hospitality management, or closely related supervisory role.
- Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day retail or café operations, including stock control, purchasing, sales monitoring, and customer service management.
- Proven ability to formulate and implement pricing, purchasing, and promotional strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Experience in recruiting, training, supervising, and managing staff performance.
- Strong financial and commercial awareness, including experience in budgeting, cash handling, sales reporting, and cost control.
- Sound knowledge of inventory management and supplier coordination.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and workplace compliance obligations.
Job Description:
Determining the café's product mix, stock levels, and customer service standards to meet business objectives and customer demand.
Formulating and implementing purchasing, pricing, and marketing strategies to maximise sales and profitability.
Promoting and advertising the café's products and services through in-store promotions, social media, and local marketing initiatives.
Selling café products and services to customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
Maintaining records of stock levels, sales performance, cash flow, and financial transactions.
Monitoring inventory levels, coordinating stock purchases, and liaising with suppliers to ensure the timely supply of goods and consumables.
Undertaking budgeting activities, monitoring operational costs, and preparing reports on business performance.
Recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating staff to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and service delivery.
Preparing staff rosters and managing staffing levels in accordance with operational requirements.
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety, food safety, and workplace regulations.
Monitoring operational procedures and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Managing customer feedback and resolving complaints to maintain the café's reputation and service standards.
