About this position
Lead the Future of Leisure World
The City of Gosnells is seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead the ongoing success and transformation of Leisure World. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the City's premier leisure facility, with a strong focus on driving centre and business improvement initiatives.
You will lead the planning and delivery of projects that enhance the facility, customer experience, safety, operational efficiency and long-term sustainability of the Centre. Working closely with stakeholders, contractors and the Leisure World community, you will ensure projects are delivered effectively and achieve measurable outcomes.
You will also provide strategic and operational leadership across the Centre's services, including aquatics, swim school, fitness, crèche and customer service. This includes responsibility for financial management, compliance, risk management, workforce leadership and service excellence.
What we are looking for
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

Significant experience managing a large aquatic, recreation or leisure facility

Demonstrated experience leading facility and business improvement projects

Strong financial and commercial management skills

Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of customer focus, accountability and continuous improvement
Essential requirements

Current Senior First Aid Qualification

Current Police Clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition
Desirable requirements

Tertiary qualification in Leisure, Recreation or Business Management
