About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Transport and Network Visibility Workstream Lead to play a pivotal role in Super Retail Group's NDC-led supply chain transformation.
This max-term contract opportunity through to October 2027 offers the chance to make a significant impact on one of our most important strategic programs. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will lead the design and delivery of transport operations, event visibility, and network flow control capabilities, creating a seamlessly connected network across inbound, linehaul, cross-dock, and store delivery operations.
Combining strong project delivery expertise with deep transport and supply chain knowledge, you will shape business and functional requirements, guide solution design, influence key stakeholders, and drive sustainable improvements in network visibility, capability, and operational performance.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Owning the Transport & Network Visibility delivery plan, budget and RAID position within Super Retail Group's governance and project delivery framework.

Leading the design and transition of the cross-dock operating model.

Leading the development of network flow control and orchestration capabilities.

Designing the future transport operating model in partnership with key business stakeholders.

Working closely with business SMEs to identify, challenge and implement changes to transport planning, visibility and network control processes.

Providing business-side leadership and guidance throughout development and testing activities, working closely with Digital & Technology (D&T) teams.

Driving business readiness, stakeholder alignment, training and adoption activities to support successful implementation and operational cutover.

Supporting linehaul tender and transition activities to ensure a smooth and effective transition to future-state operations.
This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine), Melbourne (Truganina), or Sydney (Rhodes), operating within a hybrid work environment.
About You
We are seeking a seasoned supply chain and transport transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering complex change across large-scale retail, logistics, or FMCG environments. You combine strong project management and delivery expertise with deep transport domain knowledge and can confidently navigate between strategic stakeholder discussions and detailed solution design. Commercially astute and highly influential, you excel at bringing stakeholders together, challenging constructively, and driving outcomes that deliver lasting business value. Most importantly, you thrive in fast-paced transformation programs and are passionate about building future-fit transport and network capabilities.
In addition, you bring:

Hands-on experience shaping business and functional requirements for supply chain technology delivery, including visibility platforms, TMS/WMS, event and exception management, scheduling or orchestration tools, and working day-to-day with technology delivery teams.

Deep transport domain knowledge across carrier management, linehaul and network design, delivery scheduling, cross-dock operations and transport control towers / network visibility.

Experience defining releases, planning and leading UAT, and preparing a business for cutover and adoption.
