Eastern Health
Eastern Health is one of Melbourne’s largest public health services. We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services and have a proud history of serving a diverse community.
Our Employee Value Proposition is “Being a part of Eastern Health means belonging to a welcoming team of healthcare experts”.
This statement aligns with our promise to our communities, patients, consumers and staff that we will be HEALTHIER TOGETHER. Bolder than a vision for the future, our promise calls us to action. We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.
About the role
Centre Ward is a 30-bed geriatric evaluation management/rehabilitation ward focusing on the wellness journey of patients and consumers. The staff at Centre Ward pride themselves in helping consumers return home, or to be cared for in the community. This patient focused approach provides a lot of satisfaction seeing consumers discharge from the inpatient setting returning home where they are surrounded by friends and family. This integral part of Eastern Health’s holistic care is a joy to experience and be a part of, along with the benefit of working in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team who are all aligned to a common goal. We are looking for a motivated, team focused, enthusiastic nurse to join our team. You must have a passion for delivering best practice care, be dedicated to patient focused care and strive for excellence and must be able to work all shifts.

Current registration with AHPRA
