Bridgestone Select Tamworth are expanding to have an Automotive Mechanical Service division and are looking for a qualified experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our amazing team.

You will be responsible for carrying out the mechanical checks, services and repairs etc. on our clients' vehicles; plus be trained in tyre fitment and wheel alignments when required if not already skilled in this area. Ideally the right candidate will have great customer service and computer skills and be able to help out on the front desk as well. You will need to understand how to manage your time as well ordering own parts from the many suppliers we have across Tamworth and Australia. As this is a new role in a new workshop you may be able to help in purchasing equipment to carry out all roles required to complete tasks on a day to day basis
This is a great, varied role, reporting to the Store Manager and liaising with the store owner

Remuneration will be based on experience and what you can bring to our business but will be well above award wages.
Must be trades qualified (in Australia)
Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology qualification is required.
Minimum 2-5 years of light vehicle mechanical experience is required post apprenticeship.
Roadworthy certificate for NSW light vehicles is desirable or able to attain.
Salary negotiable dependent on experience.
Have the right to work in Australia.
Must have a valid Australian driver's licence.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
