Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team.
As an Aged Care/Disability Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities and aged care/seniors.
- Assist with daily activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs.
- Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities.
- Monitor and document individual progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other support staff to ensure the best possible care for individuals.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals.
- Basic Household task as needed
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience in childcare or working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Ability to follow care plans and provide personalised support.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.

Education:
- Certificate I - IV (Required)
Experience:
- Aged care: 1 year (Required)
