About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic (General) to join our busy and growing automotive workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.
This is a full-time position offering stable long-term employment in a professional workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using scan tools and workshop equipment
* Carry out routine servicing including oil changes, brakes, suspension, steering, and engine repairs
* Repair and replace worn or faulty components
* Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and performance
* Maintain accurate service and repair records
* Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
* Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to workshop supervisor or customers

Requirements
* Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Automotive Technician)
* Minimum 2–3 years post-qualification experience preferred
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Experience working on a variety of makes and models
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Good attention to detail and time management
* Valid driver’s licence
